I ordered this to fix a pinion seal leak on my 2013 Ford Mustang GT. The OEM seal has been leaking since the car was practically brand new and I only got around to repairing it nearly 10 years into ownership. After reading multiple reviews I went with this Timken pinion seal and I am glad I did so. Packaging was great, fit and finish was as good if not better than the OEM FoMoCo seal. Last but not least, after waiting a couple of thousand miles I can report no leaks from this Timken seal(as seen in photo.) Overall I am very happy with this pinion seal, if I ever have to do another 8.8 pinion seal, this Timken will be the one I go with.Note: when installing this pinion seal ensure that you put a bunch of wheel bearing grease inside it in order to keep the retainer spring from coming out.

seem to be a good quality but I put it in went for one drive sat in the driveway for two days and it’s got a tiny tiny drizzle coming out the bottom already and I have to pull it apart and do it again people recommend using a little dab silicone around the outside of it But I don’t think the original had any may go with the Ford seal or Mazda the Mazda is a Ford ranger basically First time doing it didn’t use any silicone. Temkin seal already had a rubbery texture on the outside pressed in nice still has some seepage.

I kept getting ones that leaked. This one had a taper for easy install and completely coated to stop leaks.

Fit perfect in my 2003 Mustang GT. No leaks in about 2 months or so, so far. Great quality

This product did not fit AMC corporate 20 for 82 Wagoneer...I ended up gong to Napa buying the seal which fit without issue
