About this item

  • Allows remote control of any household appliance or light plugged into an X10 module
  • Features a built-in appliance module
  • Easy plug-and-use design

The powerful TM751 Transceiver Module is the backbone for any Home Automation setup. It allows you to remotely control any household appliance or light that is plugged into an appliance, lamp module, wall switch module or any of our many other lighting and appliances products. Simply plug the Transceiver into any normal wall socket, and using a remote, you have control of your lamps and appliances from across the room – or the other side of the house. The wireless transceiver module is an integral part of your home control system. It takes radio frequency commands from X10 remote controls and wireless motion sensors and converts them to X10 signals carried over household wiring.

Works great with the CM15a Transceiver. I use two to connect to both legs of the house wiring. Not the simplest solution but it works.

This is my second transceiver and it is just what I needed for our lower level of our home where there was little or no switch controlled outlets. An older protocol but still very effective.

These are over 10 years old in technology, and should be cheaper. But, if you already have a sizeable investment in the technology and need a relay operated output - it's the best solution for the job. Just make sure nobody in your neighborhood has the same technology on the same channels or you will have all sorts of problems.

This module receives RF signals from handheld remotes. X10 home automation is relatively primitive but relatively inexpensive. I've been using X10 products for decades, and I'd never give them up for Wi-Fi products. When you use software (and Wi-Fi) to control your lights and appliances, the software maker may log your habits and sell them to the highest bidder. No big deal, I just don't like being monitored all the time. X10 is great!

I have a ton of home automation stuff throughout my house. Kinda like a hobby seeing what I can do next. I bought this unit to replace an older unit that died on me around Christmas. It was imperative to get my system back under control from a hand-held perspective. My computer does most of the work but we manually use a wireless controller to turn on Christmas lights in the bushes or the tree if we want them on before the scheduled time. Gott keep the wifie happy. When the old unit died, after 10 years or so, we knew we had to get another. X10 is an older technology which has been replaced by z-wave and others. Problem is that the new technology costs a lot more than the older X10. In time I may switch but for now since everything is working fine I'm satisfied with X10 running landscape lights, decorations, tree lights, garage door alert, dryer alert, etc.PROS:- work well with handheld remote- allows wireless devices to interface with hardwiredCONS:- nothing lasts forever

I have been controlling the dust collector in my shop with an X10 control combination for close to 35 years. One day it just stopped working and I was looking at my options when I found the X10 stuff on Amazon. My remote works and my appliance module works but apparently the Wireless Transceiver Module. Plugged this in and set the house and device and I'm up and running again. I love this stuff, it's bullet proof.

Great when it works but randomly stops working at least half the time. We have to unplug it and mess with the main on off switch.
