I love these tools! They have made it great fun to have crab with my teenager who now easily gets everything by herself! It does seem expensive but it is well worth the cost! They seem sturdy and high quality.

We’ve had these for a bit now. They are definitely sturdy & well made. The only negative thing I wld say is, that even though it states they are dishwasher safe, you’ll want to wash them right after each use or they will rust if just rinse and put in dishwasher. Which is ‘not’ what you want for items you use with food:( We’ve since cleaned them up as best as we could and use olive oil on them after washing to help keep the rusting at bay.

My wife and I have moved to the Chesapeake Bay and we are "crabbing" off of our pier. These utensils work great for picking the crab meat out of the blue crabs as well as using them for eating snow crab legs too. They are starting to rust a little on some of the components from our salt water usage but nothing too bad as most of the utensils are mainly stainless steel. I would recommend them.

Very quality product. Ones that I expect that will last a lifetime. I would recommend. This is a full price, but expect that for a top quality product.

Great product but unfortunately the packaging was so poor. Just a large brown paper envelope without any packing inside so the box lid opened, all tools fell out and damaged the box badly. When I opened the paper bag, I had bits everywhere. I was very upset as this was a present but my friend said they didn’t mind, they will just take the tools out and put them in another box. That’s solved the problem but it was not satisfactory. It this was mine, I would keep the tools in the original box so this would be a problem. For the money, the item should arrive in perfect order. Whoever packed this really didn’t think. It was obvious that the bag was to large and the box inside would therefore open.

This was a special Christmas gift & today was the first time it was used & OMG. I kept being told over & over again that “these are really excellent tools….so good…so easy…so strong!â€ðŸ˜‚

The jaws are ‘after’ the pivot so you cannot get enough purchase to break lobster claws. If you really squeeze hard you just crush everything including the fish flesh and get covered in juice. Cannot recommend these.
