This thing does the job for cheap. Ignore the reviewers that are saying that paint is peeling off, that is actually just the protective plastic wrap coming from the factory. The scaler is pure metal and should not have any painting. You are supposed to remove that shrink wrap before you use it - it’s the same kind of plastic you find on new electronic gadgets like phones. That is purely a user error.

The metal work is pretty roughly machined. Not a good looking tool but it works ok. Same as 2 bottle tops nailed to a piece of wood!

I tried once I received it, worked well. But it’s a lightweight tool, too light. I’m not sure it will last long if you are a deep fishing fan. Btw, it has a tight plastic film, don’t forget to remove it.
