I've had my Oster toaster for several years & it got to the point I had to push it down 3 times to get toast light toast even though it was on the dark setting. It was a hassle to even make toast. Time for a new one. I received this just yesterday & tried it out immediately. It was fast & I had perfect toast on the 4 setting. I did notice the handle doesn't come all the way up so I had to lift it to get the toast out~~I was using a dark rye bread which was low & wider than regular bread so I'll have the same problem with bagels & english muffins but I can live with that. Regular bread wil work perfect with it. It's nice to be able to have toast again without the hassles & long wait time. The brushed stainless steel is nice without the heavy weight~~I don't like the shiny stainless steel as it shows every finger print & needs to be polished every time it's used. It doesn't take up a lot of counter space so that's a big plus.

It does feel cheap but works amazing, it evenly toasts everything. It’s cute, light weight and, functional. You are getting your moneys worth.

We just love this toaster. Our previous toaster had standard-sized slots and the bread would burn if it came in contact with the heating elements. Oh, and forget about trying to toast a bagel!The extra wide slots accept standard and bakery-style bread with no issues. Bagels - no problem either.The controls are very accurate but it will take a few toasts to make your perfect toast or bagel.We under toasted the few times then just bumped up the setting.This is a great stylish toaster at an excellent price.

This is a great toaster. It has been adapted to also do bagels. You just hit the button that says bagels. It cooks evenly with a lot of toasters don’t. Girls you know what I’m talking about. We’re half of it black the half is white lol! But I just wanna put this out there. It’s a good quality toaster for the money.
