I thought tour would be like plexiglass from the photos. It’s not. Flimsy plastic that folds in on the toaster. It’s more like a soft sided clothes storage bag than something to seal up and store an appliance in.

I gave this 3 stars only because I thought it was a more of a firmer plastic. If you have bugs they are able to steal crawl up underneath the plastic because it does not fit firmly to the surface and with the cord attached to the toaster that part of the plastic definitely does not lie securely on the surface area. So unless you're going to wrap your toaster cord around the toaster itself that may help some, but you might want something a little bit more heavier and a little bit more secure that's going to fit flat on the surface top to keep any critters from crawling up underneath the plastic still being able to get into your toaster.

Our cat Silver developed the bad habit of getting on the kitchen counter and spraying against the backsplash such that the offending liquid got inside our toaster. I know -- yuk, gross! However, when he's not devising new and creative ways to destroy toasters, look how cute he is! We can't get rid of him, so I opted instead to buy a raincoat for the toaster.This cover is definitely waterproof and easy to clean. I have faith that, thanks to this inexpensive item, our new toaster will last longer than its two predecessors did.However, don't expect the cover to look all sleek and sharp like the one pictured in the ad. The packaging for the cover had it wadded up and folded six ways from Sunday, and I don't think that all of those fold lines and wrinkles can exactly be ironed out (see non-cute picture above). So, we sacrifice aesthetics in the interest of longevity and minimizing our carbon footprint, and all is right with the world again. Silver certain looks to be at peace with the world.

Cannot use, because it is so badly wrinkled that it won’t cover toaster. Looks horrible, because it is cheap plastic wrap!Total waste of money!

I looked and looked for something to cover my large makeup organizer kept in the bathroom. I ended up ordering this appliance cover and it fits over it like a glove! The cover is thick clear plastic with black seaming. It is a little wrinkly but should smooth out eventually. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

This is a flimsy cover, no bottom, will not keep mice out
