Quick Plant Care Tips
SUNLIGHT
Place your tray under indirect sunlight, probably inside your house, near a window and with proper ventilation. Wheatgrass does not like hot direct sunlight.
PLANTING
Lay out the germinated seeds evenly and densely in one layer, on the damp soil in the tray. Gently press the seeds into the soil.
WATER
To water, use a spray bottle, adjusted to light-medium. When the shoots are above one inch, probably about day 5, reduce watering to once a day in the morning. But always ensure that the water is just enough to keep the soil damp to the roots. Avoid over-watering.
HARVEST
When your wheatgrass grows to about 6 inches (about day 9 or 10), it is ready for harvesting. Use a scissors and cut the wheatgrass just above the seeds.

After buying several different brands of cat grass/ wheat grass seeds online, I would say the quality of these seeds surpass the others. These seeds are hardier, germinate quickly overnight without issue, and take to soil well when planted. These seeds hold up well in PNW climate better than competitors grass seeds in an above ground planting situation. Excellent Value for the price and my cat loves the grass that grows. Would recommend 👌

Starts growing in like one day! Seriously! I grow grass for my cats and dog throughout the winter and they love it. I grow it in a big rectangular shallow tote. And I put popsicle sticks throughout otherwise they will lay in it and flatten it right away. Wonderful product. I might grow some for myself too next winter for Wheatgrass shots

I got these seeds to grow a small container or 3 for my cat after I noticed him trying to eat my fake plant greenery 🙀 I grabbed some compost dirt from my mom who has a very green thumb....much unlike MY black thumb that manages to kill off everything, gahh! I honestly didn't have much hope for growth in my apartment as there is very little sun that comes through the super tall trees in front of my apartment. I put the dirt in a smaller test container, put a bunch of seeds on the dirt and watered it. I put the pot in my front window that gets a couple short hours of sun in the morning & waited. I checked on it over the next couple days & couldn't believe it! There was grass growing!!! I then used a spray bottle and spray watered the grass and when it was a good height after about a week, I put the pot on the floor and left it for my cat to discover......I wasn't sure he'd even try it after reading reviews of many different products and realizing there's quite a few different grasses cats like or don't like...who knew?! Then I seen it......my cat sniffing, then chewing on the grass! He liked it! He chewed on it throughout the next week or two & only when it started dying off & turning brown did i take it and tossed the dead grass. I now have to order a better suited pot for the cat to chew it up and have them at different growth stages so he'll always have a fresh pot ready to chew! I can say it definitely grows fine in low sunlight places, even in drafty windows in cold weather. I have tried many different plants in my apartment and only one has ever lasted, the rest do not grow and then die. This stuff grew and grew fast (less than a week), but it doesn't last long bc my 18lb cat definitely liked it and chewed on it often....saving my fake, never die greenery, lol! I just recommend having a flat pot that won't tip over & getting a couple of these pots (they even sell pots specifically for growing cat grass for cats to chew) and start them at different times so when one pot is no longer edible, you have another pot already growing & ready to be gobbled!

I decided to just buy bulk seeds to grow regularly for my cats. I've gotten bad batches before but these are easy to plant and sow in just a few days with sunlight and water.

My golden doodle miniature LOVES this grass. Has helped with his tummy issues. I also grew some for a feral cat I feed outdoors. He also loves it. Chickens also love it! I will be buying more soon!

I recently bought the 1 Pound of Wheatgrass Seeds - Non-GMO Sprouting Seeds, and so far, they’ve been a solid purchase. The seeds are high-quality, easy to sprout, and grow quickly once they start. I’ve been using them to grow wheatgrass for smoothies and juicing, and it’s been great to have a fresh supply at home.The germination rate is pretty good, and the seeds sprout well when followed by the right steps (make sure to soak them first!).
