I have bought several light different light pads and this one beats them all. The carrying case of fantastic to have when I travel. The little magnet accessories are very helpful to keep the picture still instead of taping it. I would recommend this product to anyone!

I bought this to use for writing calligraphy. It makes all the difference. I can easily see the lines that guide my lettering. I recommend purchasing the carrying case, even if it’s only to store it in, which is very well constructed.

The quality and value for the money is great. Easy to turn on and off. Love the three different light settings and how bright it gets! I also love that I can use it without plugging it in. I highly recommend this product.

I haven't tried it for anything else but tracing like other people mention but it works well for tracing drawings and the like. On dimmer setting you can use thin paper but it's bright enough that you can use regular paper as well on the bright settings. The magnets only stick to certain parts but hold your paper as long as you don't pull on it too hard.I also had a thought that it could be used as a backlight for stained glass.

My wife uses it for those 5 d art things. She’s happy with it, so that’s all that matters.

I got this to use with students who are visually impaired to help aid their creative work and visual accessibility with our colourful plastic shapes. It has three light modes white/bright and warm yellowish tint. It has magnets to keep the paper on and with the a4 size board it helps with most craft. We've used a piece of laminate to protect the board from glue which works well.

As a traditional 2d animator, I would have LOVED to have this back when I was in animation school and in my first few years working. I used to spend hours on end on fluorescent light tables and it would get really tiring for the eyes, this is way easier on the eyes. I now work mostly on digital tablets but I still love the whole feel of animating on a light table, and this is by far the most compact way to have that at home.Make sure you look at the measurements, it's bigger than I thought. For my needs, the smaller model would have probably been sufficient. Although, the fact that it's larger than a sheet of animation paper means that you can move your paper around on it, sort of like you would with an animation disk, so it's still a plus.I suppose the battery life is better on the smaller one because the battery is the same while it has a smaller area to light up. Not that battery life has been a problem. I'm not even sure I know how long it is, it has outlasted every time I've used it unplugged.I like that it's magnetic, though only certain areas of the table are magnetic so you can't position the magnets just anywhere. The adjustable brightness is great, the multiple 'light temperature' settings are nice too, depending on the task, although I use the warmest one most of the time. When working with a stack of multiple pages (for animation for instance) the highest setting is bright enough to see through multiple pages, more than I would need.I've used it as a lap pad to draw in the dark, even if I wasn't tracing or anything, it's pretty fun, and for that the lowest setting is sufficient. The carrying case is a nice touch but I appreciate that it's optional. It's currently 20 dollars extra which is fair but not everyone will think it's worth it so it's a really good idea to have it in a separate bundle. It's not fancy but it does a good job of protecting the thing and mostly it's the perfect size for it. There's room to carry a charger and a few drawing supplies. All in all this is a great pad, right now I will use it only occasionally mostly for nostalgia but whether you're a professional or a hobbyist this is a very good product.

This rechargeable A3 light pad is an excellent product, and I can see myself using it for many years to come. It’s a great size, and the side buttons make it easy to adjust both brightness and warmth, so I don’t have to work on the brightest setting all the time. The built-in magnets hold paper in place, which makes tracing much easier. It charges via USB-C and has a handy status light to show when it’s fully charged. The battery lasts impressively long, especially on lower settings. The included carry bag is soft inside, keeping the screen clean when stored. I struggle to find any faults and it's a fantastic tool. Top class.
