I don't know what kind of Mansfield designer designed it "to fit", because even though this specific one is listed as the replacement for my model of the tank, it's just too damn long. Luckily, it's easy to cut off, after which it works, but I still can't help but chuckle, because the "designed to fit" slogan is featured so prominently on all marketing materials.

Okay, so our Mansfield toilets constantly have the handles break. Literally every 6 months. I'm replacing a handle on one of these two toilets. I thought I was safe buying a universal Mansfield handle. It should have fit my toilets that are both Mansfield.The problem is that the thing was too long. Way way way way way way way too long. I had to bend the thing because I couldn't cut it. So that has worked out but now it's sticking because it's starting to bend itself back into a straight line.I'm kind of disappointed because I don't understand how The specific Mansfield toilet handles aren't the right thing for my Mansfield toilets.
