Great tool to trace your lines or find that particular line or wire. It also finds them through the wall. It is a little sensitive but for the price point it was well worth it. I use it to trace electrical lines as well as network lines.

Works great until you have wires over 75 feet then the receiver isn't sensitive enough to sense any type of signal. In a rack with over 90 wires it was useless even once I removed the casings on every wire and touched each pair. The issue continued over the use of several different toning sources.For home use or small office... 100% would advise as a useful tool.For use as something in a daily use in my pouch... wait a day or two and get a better branded one.

It's not the right tool for tracing 120Vac electrical circuits.Recommeded for the right use.

This was my go to toner for years. It is built so inexpensively now you can't even put the batteries in without nuts holding it together falling out. Don't buy this toner if you expect it to last..
