Got this in and was surprised that it was plastic. I don’t know why I expected metal. I used it and was pleasantly surprised how easy this tool does the job. So fast, so simple. Replaced two switches in thirty seconds or less. Bought it for ARB air locker rocker switches and it worked great. I own a bunch of high end tools but this does its job as easy as anything I own.

Yes, it is just a piece of plastic. But, it does what it is designed to do, perfectly. Slide it under the switch cover, and it pops off! It is that easy. Seriously, if you have to replace a bank of switch covers (15 switches for me), it will cut your installation time down tremendously. It is solid plastic and if used correctly (just slide it under the switch tabs until they pop off; do not pry up), it will last forever. Don't think twice about buying this tool. It took me 10 minutes to replace my covers.

The plastic tool bent easily. A poor investment for the money. It worked marginally for the task of removing the actuators.
