All of the wood screws I bought from Home Depot had Torx ends on them. I didn't have a Torx bit deep enough for what I needed. So I bought the toolant Impact Torx Bit Set 27pcs (TT7-TT40). It worked perfectly. No stripping, hopping, etc. at all under torque, and the bits were of high enough quality to last through the job with no wear.Can't verify that the quality would hold up over hard use over time. If you are in construction this might not be what you need, unless loss and theft is such that more expensive models aren't worth the trouble. For the homeowner these are great.
