This appears to be a nice quality leather. The grain is smooth and has no real defects. The color is beautiful and I’m looking forward to working with it. My only gripe is that my piece was rolled tightly into a box and held quite a strong curl after taking out. I did two rounds of lightly wetting the flesh side and then pressing under books and that seems to be relaxing the leather. The ends seem to want to curl slightly but I’m hoping it will hold flat for my project. Another supplier shipped a piece of the same size wrapped flat and I much prefer this. So despite the extra work I have to do to get it flat, I think it’s a nice quality piece.

I created a iPad case . Stitched a rugged case to this leather and fit in my iPad. Very nice protected. Beautiful leather. Little rigid but hopefully with time will soften

There’s no way you’re getting a gun holster out if this leather. No useable pieces were larger than 4”x6” or or they were long 2 to 3 inch sections. Several pieces contained brands or cut in numbers which made the pieces further unusable. Good for tooling practice or rather small pieces. Slight variety which was for the positive as well as pliability. The leather was neither too dry nor too soft. I might get one decent small sheath and the rest for practice.

Doesn’t look like a normal wallet because I chose such thick leather and stitched it with 20lb braided fishing line. Will last forever. Good product

I was looking to purchase a solid, thick piece of leather, in order to make a sheath for a hatchet. Not knowing a thing about working with leather, I decided on this one.It is quite surprising! Thicker than what I thought it was going to be. Many times, you don't get quite what you thought you would. Not so here! This is a thick piece of leather!It is described as "oil-Waxed" and I guess it is. It seems finished, not like a raw piece of leather. Because of this, I would carefully select the right colour you want. For me, colour was unimportant.I can't say too much about value, because I am new to leather. Having said that, I am very impressed with the quality I see, and my finished product will last for decades.Thanks! Paid for by me...
