I have purchased a couple of brush cutting helmets, and I am really happy with this one. The Tooliom helmet is light, but durable and solid. The ear muffs cut noise well, and are comfortable to wear. They retract easily for taking the helmet off, and slide into place easily for use. The face screen is very nice, protecting from most all debris that is thrown from my weed wacker (and there is a LOT), keeping my face and eyes protected. I would recommend this helmet to a friend, or buy more when I need them.

The hard hat was surprisingly comfortable for the money. Earmuffs fit well and the mesh screen does a good job keeping sawdust out of your eyes. I don’t use the chinstrap. Maybe if I was climbing trees I’d consider it. Overall I would recommend and say well worth the money.

This is the perfect item especially for cleaning up after the recent hurricanes. A must have for any chainsaw user!! I am so happy that I found and purchased it!!

Wanted to like it for all of the features and for the price, it is a decent option if you are using it part time. I would not want to wear this for more than about an hour a day. I don't know how, but this was one of the toughest and most frustrating things to put together. Instructions were not very helpful and if I remember correctly, the muffs were installed on their arms backwards, which did not help the process. I still find the muffs to be too low in comparison to my ears, despite attempting adjustments. As such, I don't get a great seal around my ears and feel like the noise protection is therefore not as good as it could be. For the occasional use when a tree goes down on your property, these are OK. But I would spend more money for a brand name if I planned to use them often, especially if I had to wear it for work.

The headband is too small to allow it to be fitted into the helmet and the clips are so flimsy that even if you did manage to get the headband fitted, it wouldn't stay in place for long. Totally bad design and a waste of money and a waste of time spent to buy it, wait for delivery and then attempt to fit the headband. There are minimal instructions and they are useless.

I got this to take down two trees on my property. I didn't need a professional one so this one did the trick. The mesh helped keep branches and dust away from my face while the helmet itself protected me from small limb scratches and bangs. The ear muffs were a little tricky one didn't stay open all the time so I just opted to leave them out and above the helmet line, when i used the gas saw I brought them down with ease. I didn't need to use the clear plexiglass face cover so it just sits in my garage for now. The stickers are important if you're in the street or to he seen by others in case of an accident but my grandkid thought it would be fun to put them all over the helmet.

This safety helmet is an excellent bit of protection for a reasonable price.The ear muffs fit well and keep the noise of the saw to a comfortable level.the face shield has stopped sawdust from getting in my face, although I do have glasses as well.I have thankfully not had use for the helmet part, as I haven't had anything fall on me yet, but it does protect me from branches while walking in the bush.

One of the ear muff keeps unattaching from the helmet when you go to swing it off ear....it's so hard to pull that it breaks away from helmet

Well, I really like this TOOLIOM Forestry Safety Helmet. First, it is comfortable even though I find it a little heavy (I'm slowly getting used to it0. The ear muffs that come with the helmet are really effective and comfortable; they really cut the sound according to the product description. The ear muffs are also easy to put on and off. The face shield visor stays in place while in open position even if you shake you head in any directions. The face shield also covers the face adequately while down in the working position. I enjoyed the fact that the vent in the back of the helmet can be controlled by a little trap.I had to change the chin buckle because it kept unbuckling while under tension and the adjustment button tends to loosen a little. Despite these two little things, I recommend this safety Helmet.
