The paper isn't white, it's pale green. The sheets are thin, at least thinner than I am comfortable with. Some bleed-through. No stiff backing, which I discovered is a feature I really need. That info was included deep within the product description; my fault for not catching it before I ordered. Nice colors in each set.I use these for keeping track of things - listing the item on the left side and pertinent notes on the right side. These may be just fine for your use.

Imagine a steno pad without a firm back! That is what you will get if you order these. You will always have to attach it to something or only use it on a desk. Not very flexible. I won't buy them again.

This 6 pack of Steno Pads was packaged strangely in a generic white plastic shipping mailer with no identifying marks or country of origin. I received the white plastic shipping mailer in a box with other items I ordered. Luckily there was sticker with a bar code and the Amazon description on the mailer or I would have had no idea what this was without opening it. Upon opening, the way the Steno Pads were packaged, made them shift in transit and orange cover was slightly damaged. See pics. Overall these Steno Pads are aesthetically pleasing to look at in colors: orange, blue, purple, red, black and green. I also liked the look of the black dual wire binding. The front cover and back cover are very thin. It is impossible to fold back the cover and write notes on this standing up. The covers do not make a hard enough writing surface. Thus, I only recommend using these if you have a writing surface like a table to desk to write on. The paper is not white as stated in the title of the listing, but pale green. I find the quality of the paper comparable to other brands of Steno Pads that I routinely use. If the covers were more substantial I would have provided an additional star. Also please note there are not markings on the front or back of these Pads but for "Steno Pad" on the front cover. So there is no manufacturer, country of origin, or bar code on these Pads.

These are okay. But the covers are thin and therefore floppy. I’d prefer a steno pad with a stiff backboard to use without needing a table to write on. Steno Book by TOPS is very good.
