NOTE:
- If you’ve already experienced engine stalling, poor acceleration, and a check engine warning light, then you need to have the secondary air injection pump checked out immediately.
- The function of the secondary air injection pump is to allow air to be pumped into the exhaust, helping to put enough air into the mixture to burn when the engine fires again, which can make fuel burn more fully. When the secondary air pump has the following faults: the fault light is on, and the fault code appears. This means you can replace the secondary air jet pump.

These air pumps really don’t last long, they fill with water and quit. I’m on the third one I think so this car sits in the garage staying warm and dry only gets towed and used on trips and try not to drive on rainy weather. Just the smart design, ha ha

Ok so I bought this, installed the pump and nothing no sound was coming from the pump, so I assumed I had a bad pump right out of the box. Turns out after further checking it was the 50A fuse that was burnt out after the original pump burnt out it blew the fuse. So the pump works and the car sounds good again. Thanks

The part fit well.Was a little disapointed as this new unit pretty much makes same noise as my old unit. I was replacing the old unit as I was thinking the bearings were going bad in that unit.Will see how this new unit holds up over time.Not issue with part, but removing old unit and reinstalling is a big pain.

Inexpensive alternative, however this one failed in a year, motor wouldn't turn and blew the 60 amp fuse
