- The function of the secondary air injection pump is to allow air to be pumped into the exhaust, helping to put enough air into the mixture to burn when the engine fires again, which can make fuel burn more fully. When the secondary air pump has the following faults: the fault light is on, and the fault code appears. This means you can replace the secondary air jet pump.

Part showed up and works. Only detraction would be the shipper. First it was coming on this day,then it was on that date and in the end it showed up a couple days later than the initial offering. So poop to the shipper, thanks to the seller :)

Item is faulty and I would need to exchange for another part. This item should have lasted more than 17 days without errors in my emission system. The return policy is only14 days and it didn't even get installed for 30 days after receiving the item. It has been giving me failure code since installation. on 7-19-21. Something needs to be done to correct this!
