UPDATE: IT QUIT WORKING AFTER 2 YEARS SO I KNOCKED 1 STAR OFF. I THEN TURNED AROUND AND ORDERED ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE MY HUSBAND LOVES THIS MACHINE AND USES IT EVERY DAY. IF YOU CAN GET 2 YEARS OUT OF IT, THAT IS ONLY $12.50 PER YEAR, WHICH IS A GOOD DEALORIGINAL REVIEW: We have been using this tester every day for the past 8 months. It works as advertised and really is a marvelous machine. We have several cars at our hobby shop and we always need to test batteries. This unit works flawlessly. It can test the alternator and the starting mechanism too. It will save you time and money! It is great all around and my husband LOVES this tester. Just get one already, you will be very happy with this tester.

Performs perfectly. It is also accurate. My only complaint is minor. Since it is solely powered by the car battery, it doesn’t keep a record of the readings once it is disconnected. I take a couple pics on my phone and keep them in notes with other pertinent service records. Highly recommend.

It does what it's supposed to, not fancy but for $20, can't go wrong. It's small enough to store easily in a glove compartment or middle console if needed. Display is easy to read.

I own quite a few TOPDON diagnostic tools and I can tell you first hand they’re fantastic!Recently I needed another battery tester and didn’t want to spend a lot of money on one. After comparing other testers in the same price range and knowing the quality of TOPDONs tools this was my first choice.This is a fantastic tester with lots of functionality. This unit does multiple tests and functions that I would expect in a much more expensive unit. (Battery, Cranking  and Charging)The cables are top quality and a perfect length. They can reach the battery but won’t get caught up in the engine. The clamps are strong and grip fantastic even on a side post battery!What I like the most is the simplicity to use it. This was important as this is for my daughter’s vehicle. It arrived in a very nice blister pack making it perfect for gifting as well. (See pic)I would definitely recommend this battery tester to friends, family and neighbours.Definitely worth every penny!

This is a very handy tool to have. Easy to use and takes the guess work out of battery issues. I highly recommend this tool. A lot handier than running to the auto store to have a battery checked, if they are even open when you need it done.
