Just used the 9/16th socket on a VERY rusty 55 year old exhaust manifold. The nuts were very shallow and rounded off. This socket held up to repeated cycles with an impact wrench, getting all three nuts off. No apparent damage to the socket itself.Definitely worth the money. The socket bit very hard into the nuts without needing to hammer it on.

Only used the 5/8†spark plug size. The sockets seem real well made and durable. My son and I could not get a spark plug out of his truck. Original owner never changed them. 29 years and 125,000 miles. Local shop could not (or would not try) and stated that they would have to remove the head of the engine (very tight side access on a Ford Ranger V6).I bought this as a $20 gamble. I soaked the plug in PB Blaster for a few hours. This socket bit right on immediately like a pit bull on a ribeye. Removed the spark plug in under a minute. Did a happy dance. Thank you oh glorious socket!

Great product, does exactly what it says. An slim frame great for getting in spark plug removal, an any other rusted bolts or nuts. Worth the money, durable.

This tool kit truly saved my life. I was working on my 2016 Chrysler 300 V6 and had a broken spark plug that was giving me a hard time. 200t Ford F150 5.4 ltr with stripped spark plug - extracted plug without any issues. This plug had been in the engine for years and I needed a breaker bar to get it to turn even though I had soaked the well with WD40/Blaster for at leat a month. This tool did a great job digging into the rounded off surface allowing me to get the plug out of the head. Unlike some of the other reviews I read before I purchased this tool, it was new in the box, made of good steel and was not damaged at all even after needing the breaker bar to free the stuck plug. If you have a rounded plug stuck in your F150 5.4 this will help resolve your problem at a reasonable cost.

I was able to remove a rounded off spark plug in the most annoying cylinder #8 🙄 you may need to bang on your extension to help it dig into it. I used the 9/16 size for a 2004 f150 5.4

The largest size of socket is too small for any spark plug I've ever seen. However, I did keep the set because I always need more sockets.
