I use this when I cut for block printing. The product is well made, the leather soft and comfortable yet thick and sturdy. I am confident that a mistake with the cutting tool would be saved by the thick leather.I am so glad I found this product as it gives me confidence. I don't like bleeding!

Very well built, soft leather. I work with small models and was constantly cutting my thumb on the x-Acto knife. This immediately solved that issue. Fits well, and was a great price too. You can't go wrong at this price.

It was tight at first, but the material has loosened enough to be comfortable. It works well. Definitely a bit torn up already with just getting careless now that my thumb is protected, but it will definitely take multiple cuts without going through.

I am a klutzy chick who likes to carve little things. I’m currently making little wooden rings for my husband & I. This little bad boy has saved my thumb from many slips of the blade. No more bandaids wrapped strategically around my nubby thumb!PS: yes, I know: there are cut proof gloves. My sons have been nagging me to get a pair, but they usually prohibit my dexterity. I finally broke down & bought a pair after filleting my left pinky… I’m about to go leave a review for them…

I'm getting into woodcarving and after seeing some suggestions about a thumb guard I settled on this one. I have put it to use and I can say that I am more than happy with this purchase. Fits nice, does not interfere with my hand or tools. And I hate to admit this but stopped me from cutting myself a few times. And even after a few cuts still looks good. Can't go wrong with this.
