This is the only gig bag I could find that fits my Deering Goodtime Banjolele. It fits rather snugly, but it fits. Decent padding, with good fabric outer shell, good zipper too. Roomy front pocket for books, etc. Amazingly nice for the low price. Highly recommended.

At this price I was expecting the lining to be slick: it's soft instead. Padding seems good and thick, fits my mando perfectly, zippers seem nice and heavy, outside pocket is roomy, carry handle and backpack straps seem sturdy. Very pleased! Will keep an eye on seams but they look durable, only one spot has stitching that has thread showing, but it may be overstitching to end a welted seam. From normal distance this is a gorgeous gig bag for a great price!

For the price this case is fine for an inexpensive A-style mandolin. I have two A style mandolins and one is a little thicker than the other and they both fit fine (thinner one pictured). The outer material looks fairly tough, and the inside lining is fine for the job. The padding feels like a foam about 1/2†thick and not really very firm, so I am sure there are better cases, but I doubt at this price. I looked the whole thing over for any sort of tag and found nothing at all, so not sure where made, except presumably wherever is advertised In the description. I’m assuming it is imported though because I can’t imagine anyone would make this in the USA and not publicize that on the product. The zippers work fine but as you can see from the pictures they don’t appear to be any particular name brand (like YKK). The handle is no-nonsense and looks to be securely sewn on. The back strap should work ok for light carrying but does not seem easily removable unless you just don’t like it and decide to cut it off. The pocket is as measured in the picture and easily fits the 6â€x9†envelope I included for scale. That would give you some idea of what might fit in there, not that you’d necessarily want to carry envelopes in there. But it would be fine to put a couple of sets of strings, capo, tuner, and such. You could also probably put a decent size tablet in there or some folded sheet music, etc. So, overall not bad, and I gave it a 5 star rating due to the combination of low price and apparent durability for light use for an inexpensive A style mandolin.

I bought this for a Weber Aspen mandolin. The solid case that came with the Aspen mandolin weighs way more than the instrument itself, so I wanted to get a gigbag for it to lessen the load. This gigbag is inexpensive, and does exactly what I wanted it to do: protect the instrument from bumps and dings, and weigh little to nothing.I just got it tonight so can't comment on the longevity or durability of the gigbag, but from what I've seen so far the seams and zippers seem well-made. The Aspen mandolin fits perfectly.I will update if serious issues arise.I am quite tickled with the quality vs. price ratio. For around 20 bucks you get a lot of bang for your hard-earned money!

I wanted a gig bag for occasional picnics, jams, and whanot. (I normally store in a hard case.) This fills the bill.My flat-top Navy style mando fits perfectly. There's enough padding for light-duty use. But I would NOT take it on a plane.Everything seems well made. The shoulder strap is thin and feels a bit flimsy, but attachment points are reinforced. I think it's fine for my needs and the quality overall is a bit better than I expected for the price.

This case fit my type of mandolin. It had been sitting in the cardboard box it came in for far too long, so I looked for cases and chose this one. The padding is good.

This is a very nice soft case. It fits my Hola mandolin well. It has the soft lining so it doesn't get scratched and zips all the way around. The front pocket also zips most of the way around so you can pull it open for your strap/picks/etc. There is also a side handle and shoulder strap for easy carry.Because this is a soft case, I wouldn't go tossing my instrument around. But it is a good place to store my mandolin and to keep the cat out.If you want something well priced and you aren't going to be tossing your mandolin in the back of your car haphazardly but just need something to keep the dust off, I highly recommend! I am very pleased with it. :)

Inexpensive, well made, fits my mandolin, and the padding seems thick enough to provide adequate protection for normal, careful use. It has a strap, 2 way zipper that seems very durable, and a large pocket. Happy with my purchase!
