It all started with a love for rain. Totes was born in 1924 in a small Ohio town and founded on two core principles: Midwest roots and a genuine love for the rain. We loved it so much, we spent decades creating products so others could enjoy it too. Year after year we found new ways to stay outside more comfortably, no matter the weather. Before we knew it, we had built a whole world of rain products from umbrellas to boots, jackets, hats and bags! A few years later we realized that we don't just love rain, we love being outside! So we developed new products like slippers, socks and sandals that make enjoying outside even easier. Each year, millions of yards of fabric go unused across the fashion industry. We introduced our Upcycle collection to reuse otherwise excess fabric to become amazing and beautiful umbrellas. Each umbrella is incredibly unique with a one-of-a-kind combination of upcycled fabrics.

The umbrella is crisp in appearance and seems well made. The material is silky and the handle is sturdy. It is large enough to be shared or fully cover you during a rainstorm.

Why is it so hard to find a full sized rainbow umbrella? I don’t want an umbrella I can fit in my purse, I want one I can use as a walking cane! And on gray, rainy days I want a bright colorful rainbow umbrella to make me smile.This is a great umbrella. Sturdy, easy to open and close and just the right weight for me personally. Whether you want to show your Pride on rainy days or just enjoy a good rainbow (who doesn’t?), I would recommend this umbrella.

This umbrella exceeded my expectations! I have always purchased cheaper, small umbrellas but needed a bigger one for our family. The rainbow pattern is stunning. The canopy is large. The u shaped handle is charming. The push button feature to open is amazing! Seems very sturdy and kept the rain off. Whimsy and function combined to make this a delightful purchase!

Using in our yard to help keep plants out of direct sun and these are perfect. Can hang from pergola, easy to open, look festive and colorful and work.

I needed an umbrella for carpool duty and I love the bright colors and size. I thought I was getting the golf size, but this size is just right for my duty post in the rain. It dries quickly and I am very happy with my purchase.

This is a nicely designed umbrella. High rib count. Has thus far held up well under normal conditions. The size is appropriate cover for 2 people. We live in NYC and disapprove of pedestrians using umbrellas the size normally used for backyard furniture. Just too large for city sidewalks accommodating high volume pedestrian traffic. Also very happy with the red color, which increases visibility in dreary, dark, rainy conditions and which stands out when reclaiming from amongst other umbrellas.

I received it on my birthday and I was actually excited when I got it. The quality is amazing, the colours are vibrant and it works beautifully. Everytime it rains I get compliments on my umbrella, especially because it brightens up peoples day and is a change from the all black or neutral umbrellas most people have.

I ordered this umbrella based on the great customer reviews and the fact that any product bought from the US is higher quality than we can get here in Oz.It cost a bit more with postage to Australia and dollar conversion and was so worth it.The colours are bright as you can see from the photos and so well laid out.It is weightier than any umbrella I've had ever and I can only put it down to the quality of the materials. This umbrella is sturdy.The opening mechanism is a flat button that opens the umbrella like a breeze.Closing is just as easy, just pull back to the handle and it locks in not like the ones we buy in Australia where we fight with the spring to get it to latch closed.Overall, this umbrella has it for colour, design and quality so much so that I've just ordered another one to stop my wife and I fighting over it when it rains 😂
