My 6 year old granddaughter picked it this particular style of umbrella because she said it covers her more going in and out of school. It covers her to her waist, and covers her backpack too. Funny but since I got it for her, it’s only rained twice and it was overnight so she been “practicing†in the house.The one negative I’ll say is that as a child’s umbrella, it looks like it’s made very cheaply. I think the wires that open in up will bend or break very easy.But overall it’s cute and will last long enough.

I got this for my 7-yr-old granddaughter, and she LOVES it! It's a "bubble" umbrella, so protects the whole head, which is nice in places with a lot of wind. Her previous unicorn "normal" type umbrella didn't last a month because it kept getting flipped by the wind. Highly recommend this one.
