Recently I noticed that the cold-water faucet handle for my bathroom sink had come loose. I found the right size Allen wrench and tightened it. A few weeks later, it became loose again. I tried to retighten it, but it broke. Only then did I find out that the handle was actually made of plastic with a metal insert for the setscrew. I was unable to find a replacement handle. One of the pairs I looked at was all metal, costing about $28 and they did not fit.I have the rare good fortune to have been invited to join Amazon's Vine program, so I looked at the offerings there. I found several suitable faucets and jumped on this automatic one. It lives up to all the claims on it's product page. Even I, who avoids dealing with plumbing issues at almost any cost, was able to install it with only one minor annoyance. That is, the one-inch screws supplied for mounting the control box were too short. The bathroom wall is quarter inch sheetrock with a wood 2 by 4 at that location. Inch and a half screws were necessary in order for the heads to protrude above the sheetrock surface far enough to engage the mounting tabs on the control box.Be sure to familiarize yourself with the temperature control before you install it. The hot and cold adjustment directions are clearly shown on top, but you likely will not be able to see that once it is on the wall. Don't be confused by the water flow direction markings on the front of the valve. The faucet works exactly as it should but there are some considerations that I did not think about before opting for an automatic. My old faucet had a pull up handle to work the drain plug. There is no provision for that on this one. I will probably have to install a pop-up plug at some point. Also, there is no flow adjustment. It is just on or off. The hand sensor works well on hands but is hit or miss with other objects, such as a water glass and toothbrushes. If you want just a small amount of water in a glass, you must wave your hand in front of the sensor to start the flow and then quickly move the glass away to stop it. Also, I have noticed a slight taste of plastic in the water that is dispensed. I expect that will go away at some point. All in all, I am very pleased with this faucet. I fact, I liked it so much, that I actually purchased another one for the other bathroom!

To start with the result, this unfortunately did not work in my use case. We set up a new utility sink when we re-did the flooring and the cabinets in our laundry room, so this faucet was to be used along with the sink. We top-mounted a fireclay sink, which has a pretty decent sized lip above the countertop, and this sink did not have any premade holes for the faucet. As such, the faucet hole was made on the countertop directly, which meant that it sat below the lip. With the motion sensor located at the very bottom of this faucet, it seems like it is seeing the lip of our top-mounted sink only, causing it to not work properly. I wish I would have thought about this potential problem before I installed everything, but I took solace in the fact that it wasn't that difficult of an installation. In terms of the installation, it is a very straightforward faucet to install. The included instructions are very well-written; I didn't need anything else to complete the installation. The hardest part with any faucet installation is the lack of room (especially when you have to tighten the nuts behind the sink), and this one was no different; rest of the installation process, including the additional connections to the control panel for the motion sensor, are super straightforward. It does take 2x AAA batteries, which are not included with this product set.

I recently installed this touchless Bathroom Sink Faucet with Deck Plate in my home bathroom, and overall, I’m really pleased with its performance and sleek design. The matte black material and color look very stylish and modern, so its gives my bathroom a sort of contemporary look. It really makes my bathroom pop and matches my bathroom accessories really nicely. The faucet feels sturdy and well-built, so it feels like it will hold up well over time, hopefully. The motion sensor works pretty nicely, it detects your hand movement almost immediately. I’ve had no issues with it turning on or off automatically when I place my hands under it, which is exactly what I wanted for a touchless faucet. The sensor is sensitive enough that you don’t need to wave your hands excessively for it to work. One small downside is that it sometimes it may take a split second longer to activate than I’d like. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I did expect a quicker response, sometimes, but it is not a big deal. The faucet comes with a deck plate and works with a 1 or 3-hole installation, which was convenient for my current sink top. However, I found the installation process a bit tricky. The instructions were not as clear as they could have been, especially when it came to wiring the sensor. It took me a bit longer to install than expected, but once everything was hooked up, it worked well with no issues!I would highly recommend this faucet if you want a hands-free faucet that is not too expensive and works nicely!

I recently installed a touchless faucet in my kitchen, and it’s been amazing. Just a wave of my hand, and the water flows—perfect for those messy cooking sessions when my hands are covered in dough or sauce. It looks sleek and modern, too, fitting seamlessly with my kitchen decor. It is surprisingly easy to install and has significantly cut down on water usage.Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen!
