When I purchased this stand, I paid $105usd.For the money, there is nothing close. It's got good steel, good weight (not too heavy, not too light), a good finish, really nice rubber, and the versatility you need. The hoof surface is adjustable from 16in to 24 1/2in. The adjustments are in 2in increments. While it technically isn't as adjustable as the $220 version...... it's also not $220, so take that for what it is.The magnets seem decent for now, but we'll see how they hold up. Let's remember folks.... this is being sold for under $110. There had to be a compromise somewhere, and I think the magnets are it.Overall, this is a really nice stand for a fraction of the price of others. There are other stands that are, objectively of lesser quality, that cost more.Time will tell, as with all things, but I do not think you'll go wrong with this hoof stand. Outstanding for the money.

Excellent product. The picture leaves out the fact that the cradle drops down exposing a foot post. What a great design. No more changing out the post for a cradle insert. Pull a pin and the cradle drops exposing the foot rest pin. Fits my draft and regular horses fine. Easy to move and carry. Very reasonable price compared to the "green" thing. Every horse owner should have one for those foot emergencies and general hoof care, even if you are not a farrier. It has now be a couple of months and the stand is still as solid as the day it came out of the box. It has been knocked down, stepped on, and rolled around with no damage. No need to pay more for a great farrier stand.

Decent, the box was damaged which I know wasn’t the sellers fault but the screws to it fell out(luckily on my couch) of the damaged box. Easy to put together. Kinda worried about balance as the bottom plate is not as heavy as the main bar.

The best, stand I could have bought. Great quality. No need to have 2 stands, this one does every thing you need. My farrier was impressed with it and prefers to use it when he comes to do my horses.

Just buy it, buy it. I don't leave reviews but I am so happy with this stand. Solid, well built and great design. I am thinking this thing was designed by some old guy that has been shoeing for 40 years, and knows his shit. The way the hoof soul pops up through the hoof cradle is awesome. The other thing that is not mentioned is the size of the rubber pad, its big and most importantly its over an inch thick. This means you can use your rasp to shape it to your needs. The rubber pad is latterly made thick enough to shape it as needed. That I think is the best part. This thing is going to last me years. The magnet's are not that great, but really you should get your self some chaps for you tools.I would say its the best stand I have ever seen or used.

I have been trimming my own horses for awhile, but without a stand it was killing my back, especially with my 2000 pound Percheron draft mare! This worked great the first time I used it. I like how the cup drops away for the post stand. On one shorter horse I had to remove the cup section altogether (which was pretty easy) to accommodate her short legs when I brought them forward to bevel the edges. Removing the cup part allowed the stand to drop nearly another inch. I have two horses over 18 hands and only used it on the shortest setting for any of them, so I think it could be shorter overall, but worked well enough for all of my horses (except the minis, of course!). The height being a little too tall is why I only gave 4 stars.

This is heavy, and you can’t use all the adjustments- it doesn’t work properly.

Love this stand, it is better then I had imagined! Made from quality material and the dual top is such a bonus. Very easy to move through the different heights and comfortable for the horse to hold their hoof in place. Very happy with this product and excited to start trimming with it!

The stand works well for height adjustments and separating the hoof cradle from the post. The magnet seems strong enough and the base seems solid and big enough so far. Only complaint is that the cradle gets in the way when filing downward.
