Function:The 7 way trailer plug tester is a great way totest your trailer circuits at the 7-way socket, including left and right turnsignals, hazard lights, brake lights, clearance, tail tags, or ABS circuits.
Operating method
Connect the circuit plug tester to the electrical connector, and by operating the function switches, the LED indicator will show the condition of each circuit, clearly and accurately reflecting the problem.

This does exactly what it claims. It's not a tool I use a lot but it makes it much faster to quickly check all my trailers. This is for tractor trailers only. The plastic seems okay if you're not too harsh on your tools. I can see it might be easy to break if you don't have it lined up perfectly.
