Great for general purpose electronics work. It's solder. It's tin. It's lead. It's got the rosin core for better wetting leads to better solder joints and fewer chances for cold solder joints. It's a good diameter too for most work, but they do sell smaller diameter stuff for more precision work. Consider the size of the parts you want to solder and get a solder diameter than matches appropriately. This is a good general purpose size for most stuff, but might be too big for smaller SMT parts. For wires and stuff it's great though.

Excellent solder, low melting point, flows really nice. So much better than the trash solder my soldering gun came with.
