When my check engine light came on and my truck lost it's acceleration, the OBD scanner pointed to the accelerator pedal on my 2008 Tundra. I ordered this one online and it was a great replacement for the original and super easy to replace. Just remove two small bolts, disconnect wire connector (easy) and do the reverse for replacement. A true DIY job.

I have a 2007 Tundra CrewMax 5.7L that would launch from a stopped position when the pedal was pressed. This occurred regardless of how gentle I was. This is a common issue and was originally addressed with Toyota 04000-0440C. However, my local Toyota parts department no longer shows that as an active or valid part number. The current part number Toyota uses for this issue is 78110-0C012.I ordered the 04000 part from Amazon and got the 78110 (part number is stamped on it). Save some cheddar, go order the 04000-0440C, it's $80 cheaper. Or if you get lucky like me, I bought an Amazon Warehouse one for $15. It works great and has addressed my pedal issue.
