Really have to do a lot of research to make sure you get the right one, this one’s for a dump trailer..It fit perfectly, really well constructed. We’ll see how long it lasts, but it looks to be a very good unit and the shipping was really quick. Around $500 at a trailer store.

Tighten and or check the unused plugs. The one I recieved worked fine for an hour then had a leak. I never touched the plugs that I didn't use and then they started leaking. My experience was differnt than what others posted that they had a hard time removing them. Otherwise seems to work fine.

Bought this cylinder to replace the one in my boatlift. Don't know if its recommended for underwater use but it's working fine and I'm interested in seeing how long it lasts. The boatlift manufacturer charges 4 times as much for a cylinder that lasted 15 years.

Other then port plugs being loose and not knowing until it was pressurized it does seem to be well built.
