I bought two of these because they were on Sale.There were just a bit Short of fitting my Hitch, the key would not turn and let cylinder lock.I could have sent these back, but I accepted the challenge... I used a dremel tool with a metal cutting disk and I cut off approx 1/16 inch on the non lock cylinder side of the Lock, see photo. You can see the shiny parts I shaved off with Dremel tool. I then used black spray paint to restore the finish.Good News is these not fit my hitch perfectly! They are snug against my hitch witch makes it hard to get a hacksaw or sawzaw into try to cut pin off.If you have a dremel tool and some black paint, go ahead a buy this, it will work!

I got these since they use flat keys rather than the barrel keg that is easily opened. The locking end is very small, the lock "teeth" are shallow so i would consider this more a deterent to theft. As a 2 pack i would prefer keyed the same but write up is clear that they are not. The water proof cover ring pops off easily so i dont think it will last long with road use.

I came home today pulling my large Cab tractor and found this laying on the hitch the lock came apart I have never had this to happen I thought maybe I didn't get it locked right but the lock few apart when I picked it up tge pin almost came out and almost lost a brand new $45,000 Tractor because of a lock failure I will be buying a name brand for now on I just wanted to let yall know to be careful it could had been bad
