By following the hookup directions, and after discovering that the A and P2 terminals of the original were marked on the PC board but not on the contactor block, the two being connected by "U" terminals, I connected the 7 wires and it worked the first time (it's still working).

The picture shown is the superseded part # rly02807, from what I have been told rly02257 is not being produced anymore because the style of relay is obsolete

I replaced the original relay with this replacement component the first time in 2006. The first time was because the fan wouldn't shut off. This time in 2019 the fan wouldn't start. Both times this part resolved my issues.
