When boils water with lid open, it is recommended to boil 2/3 of the kettle. (do not exceed Max line), note that it ONLY works when plugged up!

This little kettle is great. I love the temperature presets, even though I only use the boil temperature. It's nice to have other options. It only heats water for one mug at a time, but that is the point of a travel kettle. It's much smaller than my 32 oz water bottle, so it's easy to pack and take places. I wanted this specifically for a road trip I will be taking, and I want to be able to have tea and oatmeal and any other "just add hot water" meal options. It runs perfectly from my Jackery 1000 Power Bank. The power draw on it ranged from 280-290 watts, so the 300 watt power rating in the specs is very accurate. It's a great little kettle, and I hope it lasts for years. I like the solid construction and the fact that you can heat water and then put the lid on and use it as a thermos to keep the water hot for a while. It's also well insulated so it's not hot at all to the touch (on the top part) when the water has boiled and is ready to pour. The bottom part where the heating element is does get warm to the touch, but it doesn't feel super hot to where you could burn yourself. I'm very happy with the quality and build of this kettle.

EDIT:I boiled more water; to max line with top open. Was about 1 minute faster. Boiled forgotten about tea to 113°. It boiled fast and was warm. This was such a great purchase, I might end up wishing I had two. 😂Also, the box says 370ml. Again, I got 350ml, but I did only fill to the max line.ORIGINAL REVIEW:SizeThis thing is much smaller than I expected. Guess I accidentally overlooked the measurements. The max is 350ml of water, just under the 400ml of water I'm used to blending with. Not an issue though.QualityThis seems to be well made. The top screws on well and it's easy to open the cover to plug in the power cord.OperationThe LCD screen adds to the appeal of this travel kettle and its intuitive. (I actually read the manual after I'd used it the first time, lol.) I filled it to the max line, put the top on, and set it to 212. It was after it was done that I read you're supposed to leave the top off while heating the water if you fill it to the max line. Whoops. And it said it's a MUST for the top to be off while in operation if you're using it in an altitude above 1500 meters.Only used it once, but it's so small and cute. Most importantly, the water heated to the temperature I set. I do not like that it took 9 minutes, but it did do it. Only reason why it didn't get 5 stars.

Delivered overnight..Perfect size to slip in travel case..HD power cord rolls up tight and stores inside..Hits 212°F in minutes and fills a decent size cup..Read the instructions a few times and play around with it before writing a review..Pairing this up w/Grayl filter for an upcoming trip where the water is questionable..

This is so easy to use and so convenient. My only question is the cleaning. I’m quite uncertain how to clean it, but since it’s only used to boil water, I’m not concerned right now.It boils water for my tea so quickly and is sleek and small. It’s great!

Try it if you want, but mine never turned on.I read the instructions, followed them to the letter. Set the temperature to 212°F and turned the kettle on. Then I waited and nothing happened. I turned it on again and the temp indicator would stay on for a few seconds, turn off and then nothing. Water never even got warm, never mind boiling. I unplugged it for about 10 minutes and tried again... nothing.I am returning and trying another company. I am just glad I have weeks before the trip I was buying this for.
