This is one of the best reciver box out there it was designed to help keep out water/moisture, you will have to drill holes and modify your car if it is not a traxxas, it has a easy set up, its performance is out standing, and has a good value for your money.

Traxxas Waterproof reciever box : rugged, tough plastic - assembled easily - very waterproof, comes with additional silicone in case you need it. I've gone through several 'waterproof' reciever boxes, and this is the only one I can honestly recommend for anyone with a RC boat or vehicle that is used in water often.

I needed a replacement gasket to get my water tight seal again, and this was the only way to get that part. Everything worked as expected.
