I have had my Leki Makalu trekking poles since 1997. With a bit cleaning off and on, they have been an excellent investment. The spring shock absorbtion still works just as it did back then.As with anything rubber, when using the rubber tips, they incur a lot of wear. This time I came across and they came in a package of 6. They were easy to install and so far eveything is fine. I can't judge the longevity at this point, but I'm happy to know I have new ones and will get back to using them again.These would make great stocking stuffers, BTW!

We use our trekking poles a lot and go through tips quite frequently. These are a nice inexpensive product that are perfect for our needs.

I use a trekking pole in place of a cane for arthritis and balance. These tips are great. They have a metal washer inside to keep the carbine tip from coming through. Great grip and my pole doesn’t slide on the sidewalk or on my polished concrete floors. They give me more confidence when walking in my hilly city. Thanks!

These wear out very fast. Have only had a pair on for about 4 weeks and already worn down.

Not at all durable. Wear out after fewer than 8-10km on pavement. At least they're cheap: $1.50 for two. At 2km/day on pavement, that's 4-5 days. So, $0.30-$0.37 / day. Not too much to pay for daily walks.

These inexpensive items seem to be doing the trick. I am still on my first one, and have been using it every dayfor several months. No issues, no complaints.
