This is a great cutter, with replacable blades. Unlike some other line cutters it hasn't started showing any signs of rust after many dives in salt water (I do rinse my gear everytime). Much safer than a kinfe since there is no exposed blade to cut yourself with. And is allowed in many marine parks where dive knives aren't since you can'te really damage coral with it. Its not a true replacement for a kinfe and or shears but its an invaluable piece of equipment. My only complaint with the watch/computer model is that the loop to attach to a watch band is on on the open end so it makes it a little difficult to remove from the sheath, but not too hard. Over all its still by far the best line cutter I've come across.

This product is great and works as intended. The reason for my negative review is that the loop in the back where the trilobite is supposed to be mounted is not very big. If you have a perdix and plan on using a bungee cord mounting system for the computer, both of the bungees will not fit through the loop on the back of the trilobite sheath. This means that you can only mount the trilobite using a single bungee, allowing it to move around way too much. If you plan on using the standard straps that come with the perdix, then it should be no issue, as these are closer together than a bungee mount would be. If they would have just made the loop in the back larger, I could get both bungees through and I would give it a 5 star review.

Although the line cutter works well it the watch/computer mounting means that it has narrow loops on the back which only allow it to be fitted by passing a watch or computer strap through it. It won't fit on a 2 inch web belt so if that's what you want it for make sure you get one that says it will fit on a webbing strap.

Habe bereits vor 1 1/2 Jahren einen Trilobite gekauft und nutze ihn als Harnessmesser zum Tauchen. Damals war die Gürtelschlaufe noch für die standardmäßig verwendeten 5mm Harness-Webbings passend. Bei diesem ist nun die Schlaufe nur noch knapp halb so weit, DIR-Bebänderung mit 5mm passt nicht mehr durch !! Warum diese Veränderung? Habe es jetzt an die Reise-Wing montiert, da passt's gerade noch so an den Brustgurt, aber eine eindeutig negative Veränderung eines ansonsten tollen Produktes.
