The plastic is durable enough to withstand some damage but it's incredibly loud when it scrapes against concrete or brick. It installs exactly like the original except you have to put the springs on yourself. That took some patience but not a big deal. It fit well on my +5 year old black and Decker and seemed to stay on snug after a few rounds through the yard. Pretty happy with how many there are in case they do break easily. I'm sure each one won't last 5 years, but we'll see.

Out of no where the top of my spool cap was rolling down the street. It had a lot of use edging and contact with the cement curbs, so it was time to replace. Now I am prepared with a few extra replacement spool caps. Just like the original spool caps and no problems with fit or quality.

The description says this is compatible with LST201, but it does not fit quite right. It goes on, but doesn’t seem to click in completely and the auto feed won’t work. I have to pop it off and manually feed the string through. I have already used one of them, so I am unable to return.
