I think the capacity is as expected. It is a plain white boat that fit well into my dish decor. It is a good weight and is easy to carry and use to pour. I really like the simple design!

I've always wanted a gravy boat and with the holidays coming up decided it's time to just get one! it's really nicely made, great size, and has nice but not too much weight to it! it's going to look beautiful at the dinner table for our friends and family when coming for the holidays and parties!

I love my new gravy boat! Others I have are smaller, and I must refill them during dinner service. This one will work great for large family dinners. There is a flaw in the paint on the one I received, but I believe it gives it character.

I love myself some good, homemade gravy and excel at making it but have never owned a gravy boat. When I saw this guy, I jumped on getting it because it said it was large capacity. I received this item yesterday and was kinda disappointed by what they consider "large capacity". Yes, the ounces were listed on the product description and I think even in the name but it's kinda hard to visualize until you see it IRL. I think this is why I've never owned a gravy boat before because I couldn't fit all the gravy I make in one, lol. I did test to see if 24 oz can fit in it and it doesn't, unless you want to create a huge mess with gravy spilling everywhere. I took a picture with 16 oz of water in it and as you can see from the picture it's almost full. I added another 8 oz of water after that, so that I could take another picture to post but it spilled EVERYWHERE. Since I had to clean the mess up, I wasn't able to take the picture, so I apologize. However, this item came in great packaging that keeps it safe, as you can see from the pictures. Otherwise, it's a very plain, white gravy boat. Would I pay $20 for it, absolutely not, especially when it doesn't hold as much as they it does and it's very plain looking.
