1/8 inch length binding screws have become hard to find locally.Right after receiving them I bound a bunch of old manuals and datebooks that were too thin for the 1/4 inch length binding screws I can still get locally. The wide range of available lengths is great and I will order other lengths soon. The package size of 100 may seem intimidating to some, but I expect to use much of it rapidly.

These are decent quality screw sets, with well formed threads. However the aluminum is very soft and the slot in the head will be damaged quite easily with moderate pressure even with a proper size screwdriver. For most everything I use chicago screws for I would prefer a harder material that can be used without being defaced immediately.

I purchased these to hinge some sheets together for my graphic design portfolio, as it would look more professional than stapling. They definitely got the job done. No complaints here. The screw posts are shipped in a small box. (I'll add a photo to my review later if I remember).

I use these to make leather bracelets and belts. Sized exactly as described, which is always nice to find in crafting components. They're also a pretty good value, but the metal is soft and I easily stripped a couple out when trying to tighten them. Since so many came in the package I could replace the screw post without running out, but the screw post was very difficult to remove with a stripped drive slot. I had to use pliers and ended up scuffing my leather a bit.I still love the product, but would like it if they were a bit more durable.

I use these for binding paper together and it get's the job done. I agree with the other reviews that say the aluminum is kind of "soft." It just has this feeling to it that it's not the sturdiest material out there. For me personally, the screws kind of come loose. I feel like they aren't the tightest and when you do screw them on real tight, the "softness" of the aluminum bends and what not. I don't need anything all that heavy duty so it's perfectly fine but it does explain the 3.5 star rating.Just a reference for paper binding, the 1/8 can secure around 20 sheets of 32 lbs paper with extra breathing room.

The aluminium is expectedly very soft but ok for most purposes. What's not ok is the price these sell for. When I got them, seller was selling them for an acceptable 20ish dollars. Now they've doubled the price, making them revoltingly overpriced for soft aluminium screws. Needless to say I won't buy them from this seller anymore, I'll just go to my local supply store.
