Setting up the combo is easy, good quality lock that requires actual tools to cut the wire. Mine was black. I was able to read all the numbers clearly. It also looks good as it matches my travel aesthetic.

You can program your own 3 digit code. TSA has a special key to unlock it so that you don't end up with a broken lock. I could see that TSA opened it with the red button. TSA cannot reset the button without your code. They also put a paper inside that they inspected. But I really liked these locks.

I’m hoping them feeling heavy and solid means they will last a very long time. So far they seem great. Easy to open, lots of shackle space to use them on various items, haven’t tried to reset the default combo yet but instructions seem straightforward. I’d recommend these locks.

For inexpensive cable locks they setup easy. The numbers were dark enough to actually read. The button to change the code was easy to set for upgrade. I recommend this brand.

1. Good strong lock.2. Wire Loop seems solid, next week itcwill be put to the test in Atlanta Airport, Miami Airport and Rio de Janeiro3. Wire loop is longer than my original lock4. No problems setting the codes5. I hope they make a version with an extra 3 cm of wire loop as I like to put the loop through the top carry handle, so I know if bag zip has been forced open with a screwdriver. Essentially the would be thief cannot run the zipper back and forward to reseal the zip. TSA no problem as the red indicator tells me that.
