Good hold and nice quality, the rubber backer is very nice. Especially fo cruising if you don't want to worry about damaging the walls.

I stuck these on the side of my fridge. Perhaps there are more solid metal places for them to go, but that is where I have use for them. One of them held almost 3lb all day, and seems to be able to go a little higher than that (about 3lb 3oz or so) before it starts sliding down the side. The other hook is only able to hold about 2lb before it starts sliding. I tried switching the locations of the hooks to ensure it isn't my fridge, and it is definitely the hooks being not exactly the same. I also tried these on the front of my stainless steel fridge and they did hold closer to 6lb there so it would seem that the type of/thickness of the metal surface makes a difference.The other thing is that you have to be careful with the top hook. Even if it can bear the weight, the top hook can sometimes pull it off of your surface. I am pretty much just using the bottom hook for 'heavy' things.All in all, I do like these hooks and find them useful for my purposes, however I am a little disappointed they could hold more on my fridge since they claim to be able to hold up to 22lb.

These beat putting holes in your doors ! They are amazingly strong. Move them anywhere that can hold a magnet ,I have them on metal door to hang hats , coats,umbrellas etc.
