These are great hooks. I like the offset handles because they are easy to pick up with heavy gloves on. I much prefer the 36" version which hasn't been available for awhile. The narrow point fits into most manhole notches without having to use another tool.

Well built and works great on "man-hole" covers. Also used it as a gaff hook to bust up a few beaver dams on my property.

I ordered this specifically to fit diagonally in a regular suitcase to use in an overseas job. I had exactly 30" of space. However, the longest dimensions of this hook was 31". So it was too long and I thought I could make it work anyway. When I got the suitcase at the baggage claim the end of the hook had bused through the zipper.I will say that it resisted prying and the tip did not bend. It was a good hook otherwise.
