I have recently gotten into tie dying and I love these dyes! I bought a starter package at a hobby store that came with the bottles and have been buying these refill packages since. They work great and the color really pops! I also soak my shirts in a soda ash solution before dying. (the soda ash is from another company) Overall I am very happy with these dyes.

I bought this kit to take on a Ladies Weekend. We had a blast! Very easy approach. Just filled the bottles, shake to dissolve, and tie-die to our hearts' content. Colors have stayed sharp and intense. Do be very careful when shaking and using... one errant drop will definitely stay where it ends up. Keep table and hands clean. I loved this so much, I bought a refill pack with powder dye to refill the bottles. This is so wonderful because I've always loved tie-die, but vendors generally only have mens crewneck t-shirts. This way I can buy my fave white, cotton shirts (from JCPenney's with v- or scoop necks) and tie die up a storm.

We done this before but ran out of colors. This time it was a slumber party with three 10-year-old girls. Absolute hit, everyone adored this activity! I taped garbage bags on our table and provided rags to wipe up the excess after each shirt. I advise that the kids arranged their shirts and whatever pattern they choose before you activate the powder with water. Perhaps wear gloves to protect your hands against becoming multicolored messes. The instructions were clear, The packets easy to pour into the reusable bottles, and it's easy to store. We'll do it again soon in the future.

These Tulip Dyes just work well for Tie Dyeing almost any type of clothing. Nice products for the price paid.

Liked the amount of dye I got with this package. I had bought a kit in store and used that dye quickly. The refill packs have lasted quite a while. My only thing is one of the orange dye packs burst during shipping and was quite messy to clean. If this happens just put on some gloves (which you should get if your doing tie dye anyway) and clean on a surface you can trash afterwards. I just put the spilled dye into a sandwich bag and salvaged it.

I was pretty skeptical about if it would be enough product and how the end result would turn out. Was helping host a baby shower and the product ended up being plenty! Id just recommend getting white tshirts or whatever you are planning to tie-dye, some extra gloves and a container to let everything sit in overnight.

I bought this to do ice tie dye with my 5 year old granddaughter. It was great! Put each color she wanted in a small plastic cup so she could just sprinkle the powdered dye over her shirt. Mess free on her hands. Use a sturdy pan to collect melted ice water or spillage is 😡! Highly recommend!

Tulip brand dye works great and the refills work great too! The pack had all the right colours and there were no issues. I have found that these refills need far more mixing to make sure all the powder is dissolved and that they are far more concentrated. I am using the small bottles that come in the 36 piece tie dye kit and I started with a whole packet as suggested but that was way too much. It was so concentrated it wouldn’t mix properly. Now I only use half a packet instead and it works well. This is actually good because it makes the refills go even further than I expected. I will be purchasing them again when I run out!

It does not say in the description, however the packages are designed to refill the 4 oz bottles, not the 2 oz that are part of the party kits. I have left over bottles from previous Tulip kits in 3 different sizes and did not need bottles.I have been doing a fair bit of 'ice dying' but I use the powder directly on the shirt and top with ice (you don't mix dye w water) and I have achieved very vibrant colors but use more dye. Having great results and having fun with the grandkids.

Excellent value- not having to purchase unnecessary bottles along with product once you have the initial setup. Colours are bright and long lasting.
