This umbrella is hands down, one of the best I’ve ever used. What sets it apart is the unique design featuring fabric flaps with openings, rather than a single sheet of fabric. Living in a particularly windy area, I’m all too familiar with how quickly rain can turn into a battle against gusts. This umbrella, however, handles wind like a champ—better than any other I’ve tried.There was not much rain one summer and I went to use it after a long time again but found that it wouldn’t open, possibly due to a crushed frame or some other issue. I also want to note that the fabric itself was still in good condition, the umbrella just wouldn't open. I reached out to customer support to explain the issue, and they were incredibly responsive, quickly sending me a replacement umbrella at no cost. Excellent service, and an umbrella that truly performs in tough conditions. You will not need another umbrella if you choose Tumella.Side note, the color of the umbrella matched perfectly to the one I received.

Very sturdy and durable, however it is a bit smaller than I hoped. Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible close - it's a major struggle and I end up soaking wet by the time I get it closed.EDIT TO ADD - The company reached out to me after seeing my review. They sincerely wanted to resolve my issue and offered several options. Excellent customer service so I am adding another star to my review.UPDATE: Company sent me a 46" umbrella and not only is it the perfect size, it is much easier to close. Top notch customer service!

I live in the Pacific Northwest where we get some very solid storms from time to time, and was looking for a compact and durable umbrella; I've had too many that claim to be windproof but have their ribs and springs break in short order. This umbrella is another class -- solidly made and well designed to shed the wind, compact to pack but with an adequate canopy upon opening. I'm very happy with the product. Just remember to open AND CLOSE the umbrella with the button on the handle. Plus, great customer service; this company really backs their products.

The inside is very pretty. Hard to close and get to click. Small and compact when closed up. I was looking for a large umbrella to cover my service dog to so I should have read the description better. My only complaint is how hard it is to make it click closed. Other then that, this is a good product.

I absolutely love these umbrellas! They’re just as described and so easy to open and close—no struggle at all. I’ve had to use mine in some pretty strong weather, and even though it did flip up once, it didn’t break or get damaged, which is super impressive. The best part? The colorful insides always put a smile on my face, even on the gloomiest rainy days. They’re sturdy, cute, and make braving the weather a lot more fun. Definitely recommend!

Great sturdy umbrella! Large enough where it kept myself and two kids dry during torrential rainfall. I have arthritis bad in my hands and was a little concerned when reviews mentioned difficulty opening and closing via the button. I had no issues with this at all! Highly recommend if you are tired of umbrellas breaking all the time. This is definitely higher quality than most umbrellas and you would think would cost more.

My son loves umbrellas and is always breaking them so I got him this. He is very happy with it and it is well made. He hasn’t been out with it in wind yet but it looks good and the rain falls off it.

We’ve gone through a lot of umbrellas—either they break or go missing—but these little wonders are truly high quality! The clever vent design allows wind to pass through, helping prevent it from turning inside out under strong gusts. I’ve used it several times in windy weather, and it has held up impressively well.It's well-made, sturdy, and compact—small enough to fit in a bag or car glove box. The only downside is that it can be a bit tough to close. After pressing the button to fold it, you need some strength to push it back into place. Sometimes, I have to press it against a wall or surface to fully retract the handle. Maybe i'm just not that strong!That being said, I still give it 5 stars because it’s the best compact umbrella I’ve had to date. The biggest bonus? It comes with a lifetime guarantee, and they’ll replace it for free if anything happens! Win-win—definitely worth buying!
