Strong steel. Easy to lock and unlock. Smoothly slides open and closed. I bought two, one for my wife and myself. We both drive Hyundais that have a high left rate, so getting these was a must. The bright yellow stands out a good distance away so as to deter a would be thief. Great product.

This is solidly built and was easy to install. My car was down last year even though it had anti theft security. I bought this and install it nightly as I have street parking. I feel better and more secure.

This review is for the Turnart Steering Wheel Lock Anti-Theft Device Wheel Lock Retractable Car Lock with 3 Keys Heavy-Duty for Car Security Universal Fit for Auto/SUV/Van/Truck. I bought the one in a yellow color, in March 2024. It is as heavy and as sturdy-looking as the pictures. I like that it came with three keys, not one or two keys. The key must be inserted and turned in order to expand and contract the unit. I chose yellow so that it would contrast against my black dashboard and black steering wheel, especially at night. I also chose it because each end has two hooks, not just one at one or both ends like other devices have. And I chose it because the key slot is not ordinary and may, just may, thus be a deterrent to your amateur lock-pickers.In summary, I expect this device to deter the opportunistic thief, the lazy thief.I also installed a kill switch somewhere in the vehicle just in case a determined thief would take a saw to my steering wheel to remove this wheel lock.

Appreciate the ability to place this on the steering wheel diagonally or straight across. Has a tight grip. Get functionality, ease to put on and take off. Worth the money.

I was drawn to this product mainly because of the double-bar design and the lock. The lock looks fairly good: it's a crescent-shaped profile that looks like it might slow down an unprepared thief. The yellow color is highly visible and the hefty design might do a good job at deterrence.The double-bar design is a bit of a fail. The locking mechanism only engages with one of the bars, so the whole lock racks inside the housing. If you have a bigger steering wheel, the racing is enough that it wouldn't be too hard to insert at shim into the lock housing and open it without a key. It's also quiet heavy, and not as easy to operate with one hand (you'll notice this if you're like me, and are in the habit of putting your phone/keys/drink in one hand as you get ready to exit your car).If you have a true concern about having your car stolen as opposed to just making it look harder to hotwire, looks elsewhere. This lock relies on its looks for deterrence.
