This kit is great and works well. I am sure there are more expensive kits out there that certain people will say "All the others are garbage you need to spend at least 2000 to get a decent kit" but this kit works perfectly fine. I needed to change the cartridge on my record player, and this helped me make sure it was properly aligned, so I am thankful for that. It was also great to have this kit to help with adjusting my tonearm counterweight. My tonearm is a bit older, and the counterweight appears to be aftermarket so the dial is not that reliable. Overall this kit helped me dial in everything, and adjust what was needed and I could not be happier. For the price paid this was worth it.

A very concisely crafted simply designed tool that does an excellent job of balancing a turntable arm. It can be an imposing task to the uninitiated and this tool is great for someone with minimal experience but also functions well for a long time enthusiast.

The scale came with two sets of batteries and a calibration weight which fits inside the back of it. Protractor and VTA gauges are nicely made and the overall case is sturdy and feels quality. A nice all in one for turntable setup!

All three tools were well made, intuitive, and easy to use. I like the vertical stylus force scale reads grams force to a couple of decimal points. This makes it easier to accurately dial in the stylus force to your desired value because you can see the force increasing/decreasing as you turn the adjustment on your tone arm.I was resurrecting my turntable from the late 70's and I don't anticipate using this tool very often, so I thought the price was fair.

I was very impressed with this alignment kit for stereo turntable cartridges.It is well packaged and has all the tools necessary to accurately align your stylus cartridge for maximum efficiency.

Used for turntable setup and not disappointed. Comes with a cool case and fine user instructions. Scale especially useful. A tad expensive but a good buy.

The weight scale for downforce tracking is worth the price alone. The other tools are good too. A must have for any serious vinyl collector.

This is an easy-to-use kit that has made a significant improvement in my turntable’s performance. It was well worth the money.My scale came with four batteries, so two spares. It revealed that the vertical tracking force of my Thorens TD-166 mkII I bought used in the 1990’s reads about 250mg too high. I adjusted the counterweight to compensate.The acrylic ruler revealed that azimuth was correct, but vertical tracking angle was not. The VTA is adjusted on this model by adding shims between the Sumiko Blue Point cartridge and tonearm headshell. I added some 3d printed shims (thanks to navydiver at Thingiverse.com) to compensate.The protractor revealed the need to adjust the position of the cartridge within the tonearm headshell. This was accomplished.After all this, there was a significant improvement in sound. This is my third turntable in forty four years, and the one I’ve had the longest (28 years). For the first time since I was introduced to digital sound in 1986, I can understand why some people prefer vinyl. I’m looking forward to rediscovering my vinyl collection.

Cuando uno compra una tornamesa cree que es suficiente con instalar el stylus o aguja y se acabó, para sacar el mejor sonido de los discos lp es indispensable calibrar la altura, peso y que esté bien alineada, este kit es fácil de usar, la marca le pone mucho cariño a este producto, no son materiales premium pero para el precio cumple bastante bien, lo único que le falta es un pequeño nivel porque con la más mÃnima inclinación de la tornamesa la pequeña báscula falla al calcular el peso del stylus, tiene que estar perfectamente horizontal, un producto de 10.

Great kit for setting up your turntable after installing a new or different cartridge. Proper setup increases the life expectancy of your stylus and this kit will allow you to do it properly. Hudson’s have a video on you tube demonstrating the procedure using this kit. The first time you use this kit it’ll already have paid for itself. I recommend this product.
