The TUSA Hyflex Switch is powered by PuRiMaX Polyurethane Blade System". The Polyurethane blade provides a quick snappy" response to the diver's every movement. TUSA's unique Vortex Generator" effectively reduces water resistance through the fin stroke normally found on traditional smooth blades. The Vortex Generator consists of six (6) performance ridges positioned behind the blade vent reduce resistance, creating a smoother and more efficient kick cycle. TUSA's Multi-compound foot pocket increases power transfer to the fin blade. The TUSA Hyflex Switch is equipped with the new universal bungee strap providing extraordinary comfort. The heavy duty elastic fin strap provides easy donning and doffing of fins. The quick adjustment accommodates five (5) adjustable positions. Fin strap is equipped with a large extruded rubber heel cushion with large finger loop for easy donning and doffing. Angled Blade Design (A.B.D.): A standard flat fin inhibits propulsion solely by fault of design. An angle between the heel of the foot and the calf of the leg remains when the leg is extended to kick. This angle causes approximately 10% of the propulsion to be lost. The Angled Blade Design accommodates for this anatomical characteristic and ensures maximum efficiency throughout the kicking cycle. TUSA Hyflex System for a compact and lightweight travel package. Fin is available in multiple colors and sizes.

In the water these fins are fantastic - best for a scissor kick but do pretty good frog kicking as well. They are easy to get on and off, in or out of the water, so big plus for walk-in dive sites or getting up a ladder on a boat dive. Foot pocket is huge but the reviews I read said to expect that so I added a pair of 5 - 7mm dive boots: perfect fit! I am a size 11 and the heel straps, at the shortest setting, hold my boots firmly. I would not recommend these for anyone with less than a size 11 foot or you may have trouble getting the heel strap tight enough - plenty of room to go bigger, though. Haven't had to take them apart yet as my fin bag and larger equipment bag can both handle the length easily. Took them to Panama City for my AOW certification and the only detractor was that, with a full wetsuit (jellyfish hazard that weekend), my feet tended to float more the closer I got to the surface. I will see how they perform without a wetsuit when I head south again or i will just add ankle weights if needed. No cramping or foot fatigue even against a pretty strong current in some spots.

Love my new TUSA HyFlex SWITCH fins!! Just got back from a trip to Roatan, Honduras where we did 19 dives. Lightweight and easy to put on. Definitely felt they helped me glide through the water. Also, really liked the adjustable straps; is a nice feature to get the correct tension/fit level for you foot.Note: I wear a size 10 men's shoe and found that the medium fins fit me best with my 7mm boots. My first purchase was the large and they were WAY to big for my foot size so had to do an exchange for the smaller size.

I have some older Tusa fins but when I use them I get fast fatigue in my legs and aches in my knee joints. My son bought these TUSA SF-0104s and I tried his on a trip earlier this year. I was amazed at how much better they felt and performed so I bought my own pair. We just returned from a trip with friends - I was able to snorkel for hours with no fatigue or joint pain and swam a considerable distance; in contrast, my husband and our friends all complained about fatigue and did not swim as long or far as I did. And my husband is a long-time very conditioned runner whereas I am not in as good a shape so I was quite happy that I was able to keep up with him and even out swim him with these fins. I encouraged my husband to try mine and, like me, he was amazed at how much better his legs felt with these TUSA SF-01014s. My husband and friends were also amazed that I was able to pack these fins in my carry-on bag because these fins have that feature that allows unscrewing the fins from the booties. My husband is very budget conscious so I don't know if he'll decide to buy his own since we don't go on a lot of snorkel/dive trips so he may just decide to continue to deal with our older lower performing or rental fins. Me - I am 100% glad I invested in these; money very well spent to preserve my already arthritic knee joints as I get older AND not have to check my bag because these fins fit in my carry-on bag!

Bought these as a late Christmas gift for myself to use on our annual trip to French Polynesia, followed the sizing chart I found and on June 1st, I tried them on, too big even at the smallest adjustment. Never used and asked to exchange them for 1 size smaller and was told NO. Not even a thank you for $230 for a product I can't use.

I like these a lot. They are portable, light and fit nicely. The problem is when I went to put one on while in the water the whole strap came apart. The mounting pin fell out and disappeared into the sand. They can’t be used without this piece and I can’t order it anywhere. Now I have to wait a week for a new spring strap to be delivered, at my cost of course. I wouldn’t have purchased these if I knew how cheap the whole strap assembly was.

I love that you can take them apart for ease of travel in suitcase.Negative, they came off my boot heel twice during the dive trip and caused severe blistersGuess I’ll be replacing the straps with metal ones
