I bought an 85 inch tv and have it sitting on an entertainment center. I don't want to worry about the tv being knocked over onto grandkids so I bought this strap kits for safety. It was easy to install. I put the screws in the TV where one might install a wall-mount and then used the wood screws to screw the other end of the strap into the back of the entertainment cabinet, then pulled the adjustable strap tight. It works well and makes the tv much more secure and less wobbly sitting on the cabinet. I feel better knowing it's much less likely the grandkids could knock over the tv.

I am a mom of twins who have just started to walk and are climbing things. I ordered two sets of straps to secure the large TV and cabinet in my living room. Delivery was fast. I like the sleek packaging - I can see myself giving this as a gift to my new-mom friends. I also like the length of these straps - they are really long, and can be adjusted as necessary. The parts that you secure to the TV and to the wall are made of metal and not plastic - I like this because I have heard of plastic straps breaking when pressure was applied. The free gift is a nice and useful addition to the package - it is a cabinet lock which prevents babies and toddlers from getting into cabinets and also protects their little fingers from getting hurt by cabinet doors. I will be installing my straps very shortly. The instructions look clear and easy to follow. Overall, I give this product a thumbs up and 5 stars. Well done!

The screws that came with the straps didn’t want to go into my wall without pre-drilling a hole first. I’m sure they work great for drywall but not hardwood.
