I am a big person (5'3" & 240 lbs) and was a bit nervous whether I would "fit" in the desk. Measurements straight on. Sturdy construction, quality fabric. No problem with product disassembling while in use but I imagine if it's assembled and disassembled frequently, the fit will become more loose.

I like to work on my laptop from my bed or couch to change things up. This tray table is almost perfect. The angle and height are great for working on a laptop. Your neck will thank you. It does have drawbacks, however. Taking it apart and putting it together take some force. The angle means you can't easily use it to hold a plate and cup while eating. And the fit is a little tight. I'm a female who weighs 180 pounds with wider hips, and the sides are pretty snug against my legs.

This “TV Tray†works spectacularly well for a lot of different things. You can use it in bed or while sitting on the sofa or even sitting on the floor. Honestly, it can be used anywhere you want. The sides are solid and can hold a hefty amount of weight and combined with the hard surface, the possibilities are endless!I used it while I was watching television and eating my dinner one night and placed it to the side so I could move around the bed if need be and not a single thing spilled or dropped. I do recommend that you invest in some nonslip material to place between the tray and whatever you’re setting on top. That will add even more stability.I sat on the sofa in the den one evening and used my laptop to finish off some work and it worked great. It also has a slot to place your phone or tablet if you like OR you can just slide them into the side pockets!THE ABSOLUTE BEST PART is that it very easily comes apart into three pieces that fit just about anywhere. I’m keeping mine under the bed in a rolling bin and it’s absolutely fabulous. When I want to use it, I just roll it out and when I’m done, I just put it back in the bin and roll it back under the bed. Takes barely a minute to put together and also to take it apart!

Add this to the rotation for WFH. We have a variety of setups and rotate throughout the day: a real desk, a standing desk, and now this. This “tray†is more than a tray and is good for a couple of hours of work on the couch (or bed).We had a different tray that actually sat on our laps. That wasn’t as good as this one because every time you’d shift your weight the table would wobble. This has arms that rest on the couch and is thus more stable. The downside to this set up, though, is that bigger people might have issues. My husband can use it, but he looks a bit ridiculous and it’s not a comfortable fit. He almost looks like he’s trapped in a tight airplane seat. Also, couches/chairs that have a narrow seat might be an issue too.So long as you’re not concerned about it being too small for your needs, it’s a really good item.My star ratings explained:5 stars = Exceptional. I recommend to friends.4 stars = Exceeded expectations.3 stars = Met expectations. Satisfied with purchase but not overwhelmed.2 stars = Failed to meet expectations but usable.1 star = Avoid

I use this desk everyday. I work from home however with a recent injury to my back I am unable to sit up at a traditional desk. I need to sit in a recliner and I use the lap desk to set my laptop on. It works perfect. Sits at a good height. Easy to store. The sides come off and then can be stored easily. Pockets on the side that I store mouse in etc. It is a great buy.

The wooden table part arrived with a damaged corner. The table is a little small, not side to side but from front to back it's a little shallow. The materials were fairly cheap and not good quality. I really love the concept and the fact that it can take apart. They need to make it collapsible but still stay in one piece. It is difficult to push the prongs into the holes that connect the table and the leg stands. It needs to be made so the legs simply fold shut and unfold out (but is still strong and won't accidentally fold up on you) so the table can stay in one piece instead of three separate pieces floating around.

Overall quality tray that is great for using on the couch or in bed. The tablet standing slit is a nice touch and the pockets on the fabric sides. Very sturdy and modern looking. Happy with it but wish the height could be adjusted and that the legs could pop back off for storage after assembly. Easy to put together though.
