First unit had a broken retaining hook piece, so the vendor sent me another. The tray seems a bit flimsy, but I can put my upper body weight on it with no problem and it is sturdy enough for the use I have. The vendor was easy to work with for the exchange.

It serves its purpose, however, it's not very sturdy. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Sent this to my mom for early christmas 2024. Her partner passed away this summer and since then she's been eating more in the living room since she's alone now days. She called today and said she liked it. I pressed her to be honest about whether it was sturdy and she said it was. She mentioned it wasnt easy to put together but she took her time and finally figured it out. I also got her a stand so the could set her ipad on the table too. Some other models had a slot to set a phone or ipad into the table top but it looked like you wouldnt be able to see the bottom inch or 2 of the display area that way, so thats why I chose this basic model. Happy if she's happy.
