These double pole-double throw switches are sturdy, and I predict that they will never need to be replaced. The rubber covers, however, are not very secure and come off too easily.

I found out the hard way that the contacts are reversed. I should've checked continuity to figure out which contacts closed in which position but I didn't and then had fun trying to figure out why things weren't working right until I checked and discovered the reversal. So be aware of that! In a vertical position, down closes the upper contacts and vice versa. Also, be aware that this is a DPDT (double pole double throw) switch which means the two sides of contacts are separate from each other but function the same. Otherwise, good product, works as it should. I like the screw terminals, more solid connection

We had a switch burn up in a piece of equipment at our auto shop. Got some of these to replace them. Same rating, etc.. They are sturdy and have held up to daily use. It would have taken much longer to get OE switches from our tool vendor. Will buy again if the need ever arises.

Very poor quality I use one of these for one day and it failed I was only drawing 0.4 amps and contacts melted do not buy this it is not good for anything
